The Messenger Oracle for the week of April 13 - 19, 2013

The Messenger Oracle is a beautiful deck created by Ravynne Phelan. One thing is certain, this Oracle can inspire the magic within all of us. The deck has 50 gorgeous cards and comes with a 75 page guide book that includes Ravynne's amazing story of how she made a decision to become an artist in the year 2000 instead of believing those who told her it would never be possible! The guide book also has 3 layouts for readings:

Here is the weekly reading I did on my YouTube channel using the Messenger Oracle

 The Angel Tarot Cards are my deck of choice for the Thurs - Sun reading. This deck was created by Doreen Virtue, Radleigh Valentine and Steve A. Roberts. Doreen Virtue claims that this deck was created to be the first tarot to be 100%  gentle, positive, safe and trustworthy!
So, as long as you are not frightened by angels, friendly dragons, unicorns, mermaids and fairies, you should be safe and sound while using this deck. I personally have never been attacked by any of my other tarot decks so I guess my life must be very boring. I think the gentle, positive, safe and trustworthiness has more to do with the person reading the cards and not so much the cards themselves. After all, tarot is like a mirror.
 The deck itself is very nice and sturdy.  It comes with a 135 page guidebook. I enjoyed the use of color that Steve Roberts used in his detailed illustrations. If you or someone you know loves fantasy art, pick up this deck!
Even with all the changes that were made, those who like traditional tarot decks might be pleasantly surprised by this deck. I am even going to suggest that those who are not into angels, unicorns, fairies, mermaids and dragons can still rock this deck.
