Angels of Atlantis Oracle Cards

The Angels of AtlantisOracle is the first deck written by the author of The Alchemy of Voice, Stewart Pearce. This vibrant deck was illustrated by Richard Crookes. This oracle is unique in that it is divided into 12 small decks representing each angel. The angels have 2 to 5 cards dedicated to each with themes expressed in words, intense imagery and sparkling  patterns of light. If you like a lot of sparkle and orbs, you will love this deck! The angels that are represented:

  • Gabriel - The Divine Messenger
  • Hanael - The Sacred Warrior
  • Jophiel - The Holy Liberator
  • Metatron - The Supernal Teacher
  • Michael - The Cosmic Leader
  • Raphael - The Holy Healer
  • Raziel - The Divine Mysteries
  • Sandalphon - The Sacred Guardian
  • Shamuel - The Divine Guide
  • Uriel - The Divine Companion
  • Zadkiel - The Divine Comforter
  • Zaphkiel - The Sacred Comforter

The oracle comes with a guidebook that includes messages and angelic healing chants for each of the 44 cards. Stewart also shares his story of how the angels inspired him to create this oracle. The guidebook has a brief overview of basic one, three, and twelve card spreads for readings.
I have really loved working with this deck as a stand alone or with other decks. They make wonderful clarifying cards for complex readings.
As seen on the left, Stewart has also written a more detailed book about the Angels of Atlantis and has written a second deck about the angel heart sigils  that will be released this summer.
The oracle deck and the book are currently on sale if you would like to add them to your collection!

The Wizards Tarot

This week I have been really enjoying working with the Wizards Tarot by Corrine Kenner. The beautiful illustrations were created by John J. Blumen. This deck has a magical school theme that seems to be  inspired by the Harry Potter  books. Even if you are not into Harry Potter, this is a fun deck to work with.  Each card has a unique expression and is rich in detail.
 The 241 page Wizards Tarot Handbook will be your guide for the Mandrake Academy. You will find helpful information on each of the Academy proffesors represented in the Major Arcana. Each professor will give you a lesson that will help you develop your own special magic. Many of the professors have unique tarot spreads to assist you in your lessons.
  The Minor Arcana will introduce you to the other students at Mandrake Academy and give you the opportunity to use your practical magic. There are four schools of magic (represented by the tarot suits) that you will be participating in. The elemental guardians of the Academy (court cards) will also be there to assist you in your learning.
 If you are interested in a fresh approach to the tarot, I think that you will really enjoy the experience of this themed tarot deck and book. This is currently on sale for 34% off, so click the link above if you wish to add this to your collection.

Make sure you check out my weekly reading using this deck on The Joyful Oracle YouTube channel.

Time for some wild wisdom!

This week I'm working with the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle by Lucy Cavendish. This deck is filled with beautiful artwork by Selina Fenech. This is a 47 card oracle deck that comes with a lovely 188 page guidebook. The guidebook also includes information on how to enjoy and work with faeries. There is a general overview of divinatory meaning and reversed meaning given for each card. There are three outlines Oracle spreads which include:
* The Trinity spread
* The Faery Cross
* The Faery Star
I have really enjoyed using this deck and I think it's a fantastic deck for people of all ages.

Psychic Developement: Creating a Soul Mate Journal

 Since this month has a strong focus on love, I thought I would share some of my rituals that helped me create a wonderful life for myself and kept me going through tough times. An important experience in psychic development is creating journals. Journaling is one of my favorite rituals because it gives me the opportunity to flow with my intuition without hesitation.  As a clairvoyant it is sometimes difficult to memorize everything that comes to my attention. The information can come in fast and furious causing me to write trigger words in shorthand that will help me later recall all the details visually. Journaling also helps in discovering new abilities, insights and possibilities. It is truly magical.
  When I made a conscious decision to connect with my soul mates, I started a journal that I filled with visions, dreams, desires, discoveries and experiences with my soul group. I started out focusing on a romantic soul mate then found a natural expansion into all soul relationships in my life. Doing this helped me start to break free from previous limitations.
  One of the best things about journaling is that it doesn't have to be expensive. You can find basic journals at Michael's Craft stores for $1. If you are like me, you might like to pick out a journal that reflects your current focus. I recently found this lovely journal that I plan on using for expressing gratitude for my soul mates and soul group affirmations for various rituals throughout the year. Another nice thing about this journal is that it lies flat open on your selected page.

If you consider yourself a Dark Romantic, you might like the Desire journal.  I bought this lovely journal years ago and it is still one of my favorites. It has some beautiful art and quotes within its pages.

Do you have favorite affirmations and visualizations for your soul mates?
Feel free to share them.

Tea & Tarot: Happy Valentine's Day!

I am enjoying this Valentine's Day morning with a cup of my favorite tea and one of my favorite tarot decks!
The 3rd edition of the Bohemian Cats' Tarot comes in a sturdy box with a 31 page booklet. The creators, Alex Ukolov and Karen Mahony assure us that no cats were harmed in the creation of this deck and to not try this at home. Of course we know the images are done digitally and that cats don't really like dressing up like this even though I can see why one might be tempted after viewing these cards. The booklet has the basic meanings of the Major Arcana, a story for the Minor Arcana, instruction on how to do a 5 card spread and an introduction to the extra card. The Fortune Teller is for personal use as a bookmark or can be used for a reminder to use your personal magic in a reading or displayed in any artistic way you desire.

 The Baroque Bohemian Cats' Tarot is currently on sale!

I really enjoy the variety of the images in this deck and all of the cat whimsy. This is a great deck to break out for friends who may not be familiar with tarot or any reading that need a light hearted approach.

 I also wanted to share a little information about my favorite tea Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice . This tea is spicy and naturally sweet so it makes a great after meal beverage. If you would like to try something new to drink during the winter, this would be a good choice. Here are the many health benefits of cinnamon tea:

  • Alertness & memory
  • Immune system boost
  • Helps lower blood sugar by improving the way the body uses insulin.
  • Improves circulation
  • Reduce menstrual cramps
  • Eases cold symptoms and stomach upsets

Have a beautiful Valentine's Day!
